Cost break up per head. 1)Sasme home stay(suyoga homestay) - 1000 with food( dinner, breakfast and lunch) 2)Jeep- 1600 ( 3 groups were clubbed so 1600/3) 3) Guide - 1000 for a group. 4) entry fee- 575 Before Trek. We went in our own vehicle and reached the Samse village on previous day because it's difficult to trek if we travel and reach there at morning. At Trek. Moderate to Difficult Trek. 9+9 km Easy walk in the beginning , then it's a mix of steep and plain surface. Own vehicle can not reach the trek base point so we have to take a Jeep ride. At the ticket counter we have to fill in the form and give a photocopy of our Aadhar card they will allot a guide, check our bags ( no plastic zone - they asked us to dispose the plastic including chocolate paper). Our trek began at 8:30 and started smooth, beautiful butterflies flying here and there, lush green everywhere, people crowded and blocked way ( since we visited on weekend /gradually after half a way everyone were dispersed). We came accross lots of water stream on our way to peak. I recommend to drink the topper stream waters( these water are exceptionally tasty and cold). Reached the peak by 11:30 slept there for 20 mins then we had a walk around on the peak and captured a few photos. Started to descend by 12:45 and reached the base at 3:45. I think among all the treks I have been to, this trek takes around the same time while coming back. Coming back feels like infinity ♾️ walk and walk and walk.

Mind-blowing experience, very exhausting trek for beginners. According to the trek leads and guides, we faced one of the most difficult conditions because of hailstorm and heavy downpour. So much so that even guides and leads couldn't go any further and had to come back at 500m distance from the top. Very beautiful scenery, mist loaded jungles, and chilled breeze everything adds up to make it perfect. However in the beginning of the trek, one has to beware about the blood sucking leaches as they stick to the body and then bleeding won't stop.

Paradise! Yeah, if you ask me to describe it in one word, i can't think of any other word. Kudremukh means horse's face in Kannada. They say you can even spot deer and peacocks on the way amongst other wildlife while trekking! It is a beautiful trek across the rolling green hills and misty valleys. You traverse through grasslands, forest and many small streams. The trek consists of 22kms in total and half in jungle & other half on steep grassy lands. Difficulty level is MEDIUM so one must be healthy & fit enough to walk 22kms within 10 hours. Forest department provide pass for 50 members daily between 7.30 AM to 9 AM and one must report before 6PM in the evening. Having a guide is the best choice to do the trek as there are chances of losing track. A must to have in hucket list.

What a breathtaking view. So let's clarify some things, if you are going for a trekk in kudremukha, it will be a 9.5+9.5 km trekk up and down. It will be very much tiring but will be worth it. Last 3km to peak is quite tough. Make sure to carry lunch or tiffin, plastic they won't allow, so try to carry in steel box. 1st do online booking from their official website, they bring proper documents, then hire e jeep to take u to the forest office there u submit all of the documents and they will give tickets. Ticket will be 575 per person. And guide is mandatory. For 10 people guide will be there, for 2 guides like that, they will charge another 1000, jeep will be taking per head 200. Please carry enough water and dark chocolates and glucose d drink also u can drink waterfall water, Everything worth if you are a trekk lover. ❤️

Verily nice trek. View from the top most peak is too good. It's better to reach the peak before 12pm (Start the trek atleast 2.5-3 hrs before that, if u are a fairly good trekker. If not plan accordingly, as you have to trek 9+ kms in a not so steep terrain). Also, u have to cross various streams, so plan your footwear accordingly.

Very scenic roads. Wouldn't surely settle for a single visit. Make sure you'll reach the exit checkpost on time cause police there would always try to make a quick buck with random reasons.

Kudremukh trek offers breathtaking scenery, challenging terrain with it's lush green, dense Shola forest. We need a permission from the Forest department and a local guide will accompany. The total trekking distance is around 22kms.
